“Hala, alika at kulayan na natin ang drawing!” – Let’s start coloring our drawing. As Filipinos way of sarcasm everytime there’s a planned outing, swimming, or vacation that was not put in to reality. It equates to drawing that never became a reality. In every planning, you must set your goals to being realistic. Like yeah, really realistic.

Panoramic View of Knightsbridge’s Pool

These are some questions you need to answer when planning an outing. It should be S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-bound).

  • Where do you want to go? Are you good with just swimming pool, beach (white, brown, gray, beige, black, or others), or both?
  • How much are you willing to spend? Juice colored, baka naman ang taas ng pangarap pero walang balak mag-ambag. Mag-swimming na lang sa batiya para walang gastos.
  • Can you get a transportation going there?
  • Do you have an access to the location? Are you ready to go there even the weather doesn’t permit?
  • How long do you plan to go on a vacation? Is everybody free those days or are they willing to take a leave?

Then if you were able to answer everything, more likely than not you can proceed with coloring after your drawing. Hahaha! Just kidding. Well good luck!

We were lucky enough that my friend RJ is living at Knightsbridge Residences and we didn’t need to pay for our accommodation and use of pool. We just spent for our food (Samgyeopsal style!) and had some movie marathon after we got tired swimming. It was a perfect staycation, go lazy, lie around, watch a movie, and eat.
