Recently, Taiwan has announced the visa-free entry for Philippine passport holders starting June 2017. Unfortunately, due to some technical problems, they have to delay the visa free pass on September of the same year. Now that’s a problem for those who have already booked their ticket when the visa free to Taiwan was announced. After the postponement of visa free, the consul general of Taiwan embassy offered visa assistance for Filipinos who have already booked their tickets during the time of announcement.

It was a hooray! But they did not specify the requirements and guidelines for the visa-assistance. So I am here to help you so you won’t suffer the same fate as I did because I needed to return to the embassy several times due to lacking requirements and missing information on my tickets. Bakit parang kasalanan ko? I got too tired going back to the embassy, I just decided to have an eVisa which is very convenient but expensive at the same time.
