Pinto Art Museum is located at the heart of Antipolo City, at #1 Sierra Madre St., Greenheights Rd.

If you are commuting, you find any transportation (jeep or UV express) that will direct you going to ‘Antipolo Simabahan’ or the National Shrine of the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage. If you’re more soshal, then ride a taxi/Uber/Grab from where you are para less hassle. Hirap kaya mag-commute sa Pilipinas na land of Mandurugas at ang init pa. Hahaha! Kidding aside, if you’re coming from Masinag, Antipolo, the fare to Antipolo Simabahan costs P19.

Upon alighting the jeep, you may see tricycles passing by and you may make-para them to make sakay and tell the driver that you are going to Pinto Art Museum. I assume that the tricycle drivers know where it is located. The tricycle fare would cost around P40-50 to Pinto Art Museum, depending on how good you haggle.

Upon entering the Museum, you will be greeted by this Santorini-vibe staircase which very photogenic and of course beautiful in real life. It was actually a great day to leave my camera’s battery at home and forced me to use my phone’s camera (Samsung S6 edge) and I guess it was actually not bad.

You’ll also immediately see this mini chapel on your right from the entrance. It is also where they store their unrestored and unrehabilitated antique religious statues.

Of course they’re creepy. Especially when you have watched the movie Seklusyon and remember the scene how the demon used the saints and your religion to lure you towards him. Whatever, so imaginative. Hahaha!

The architectural structure and design of the place is very picturesque and perfect for your Instagram needs. And it is also perfect for other photo-op purposes such as pre-nup and other events. I just don’t know the rate if ever.

It is pretty nice and dramatic to have some photoshoot on most of their places. Unfortunately we only have limited time when we visited because I needed to go to Villamor and pass my application for PAF.

It is very nice to appreciate each every piece of art from ethnic tribes in the Philippines but take note that it is very time consuming. Otherwise it is the best way to give appreciation to our artists.

The museum has also special areas for modern and contemporary artworks which are very pleasing to the eyes and interpretation may vary from its artist to its viewers. They are great pieces of conversation. So if you have a crush and wanted to talk to him for a longer period of time, bring him/her here.

The museum also offers meals in their cafes in case you get hungry after viewing their extensive wide range of galleries.
